    1. MONOLITH® PLUS MULTI WELL

      MONOLITH® PLUS MULTI WELL

Modular structure composed of additive 16-drop elements Each additively manufactured element consists of up to 16 injection points. Furthermore, each element has a cooling inlet and a cooling outlet for mold insert cooling. The cooling capacity can be transferred passively via 7 contact pins, or the cooling water is actively transfered into the mold insert between the nozzle tips. Secure sealing and support The sealing of the injection points is done in height and not in diameter. This allows for compensation of thermal expansion, and the mold insert can securely support itself on the hot runner without bending under injection pressure. Minimal tear heights. Due to the ideal thermal design of the system, the smallest tear heights can be realized, surpassing classic cold runner solutions.

    3. Mould Monitoring

      Mould Monitoring

Plastic product manufacturer Walther Faltsysteme has relied on the expertise of toomaker Haidlmair for many years. Haidlmair's two sbusidiaries, Digital Moulds and FDU-Hotrunner, have now come into play for current projects. Since spring 2020, Walther has been using two new tools that for the first time combine Haidlmair's expertise with two technologies that originate from the family company's development department. These organizations now stand on their own two feet. These are Digital Moulds GmbH (a 50/50 joint venture between Haidlmair and the Bavarian toolmaker Siegfried Hofmann GmbH) with the 'Mould Monitoring' digitalization solution and the wholly-owned Haidlmair subsidiary FDU Hotrunner GmbH. The two moulds, in which both Mould Monitoring and the FDU system are installed, are used to produce a pallet. Mould Monitoring from Digital Moulds is less about the pure performance of the mould and more about the verifiability of the production processes. The information gained is used, for example, to optimize material planning or to adjust the production plan at an early stage. Mould Monitoring enables production and location data to be recorded using hardware that is mounted directly on the injection mould. The data is collected via internal and external sensors, pre-processed in the device and transferred to the cloud-based system via the mobile network. This allows production to be checked in real-time, even if you are not directly on-site. The data also provides more precise information about the condition of the tool, allowing deviations to be detected more quickly. Walther now has 5 tools equipped with the system. Walther is particularly interested in information on the output quantity, completed cycles, fault identification, better planning of short-term maintenance and other basic data.

    6. New French Coupling System Z8012/... from HASCO

New French Coupling System Z8012/... from HASCO

Through the extension of the product range with a new mono-coupling system with a French profile, HASCO has once again improved its service for customers throughout the world. The new modular French coupling system Z8012/... offers exceptionally simple and adaptable solutions for applications in the low-temperature range. The couplings have been specially developed to meet the demands of mouldmaking and allow reliable and efficient media throughput – irrespective of whether the work is carried out with hot or cold water, or with cooling oil. Maximum throughput with minimum effort Thanks to the free passage on both sides, the system guarantees optimum throughput rates without additional flow resistance. The proven ergonomic single-handed operation enables fast and reliable coupling and decoupling. The reinforced locking system ensures reliable sealing of the circuit at all times. Safe handling through colour coding For maximum process reliability, the plug and socket are available in different colours. The coloured rings make it easier to differentiate between the media circuits and minimise the risk of incorrect connections – especially with complex moulds featuring multiple cooling lines. Modularity for maximum flexibility The new French coupling system is available in numerous connection types and designs, and can be integrated seamlessly into existing cooling concepts. An exchangeable fluorinated rubber O-ring additionally increases maintenance friendliness and ensures a long service life for the coupling, even under demanding conditions. With this extension of the cooling programme, HASCO offers a forward-looking solution for precise, reliable and efficient cooling processes – once again underlining its expertise as an innovative partner in international mouldmaking.

    7. New locating rings for precise mould attachment

New locating rings for precise mould attachment

With the new variants Z7517/…, Z7526/… and Z7527/…, HASCO is extending its proven locating ring range and offering mouldmakers even more possibilities for precise centring and reliable guiding of moulds when clamping on the injection moulding machine. The new locating ring ensures, thanks to its 8 mm guide length, precise positioning on the machine side. The extended guide length reliably prevents any tipping of the mould, thereby increasing process reliability. Fixing holes enable reliable flush tightening, while flexible adjustment possibilities guarantee optimum integration in different mould constructions. Perfectly coordinated with HASCO thermal insulating sheets The new variants, with thicknesses of 6 and 8 mm, are coordinated with HASCO thermal insulating sheets.
