HB Reactor
The HB Reactor is a horizontal twin-shaft reacting processor. This product was added to our lineup in 2015 and was developed based on the construction principles of our proven KRC Kneader. Both ends of the shafts are held by bearings, so that the counterpart paddles, or the paddles and the barrel wall never make contact. Special paddles and the gear pump installed at the outlet ensure a long residence time of the materials inside of the barrel. Through this, the HB Reactor is suitable for any complex reaction processes that require a residence time of more than 10 minutes. The paddles are modular, so that the paddle pattern can be adjusted according to the intended application. Another feature is the barrel shape, which is larger in volume than that of the KRC Kneader. This shape further enhances the reaction-promoting effect by increasing the available reaction space. The simultaneous dynamic change of the reactive surface by the rotating paddles intensifies the surface renewal effect of the materials inside the barrel in addition. The barrel can be operated under vacuum condition up to 133 Pa absolute. Furthermore, the barrel is available for high temperatures up to 350℃. In the plastics industry, the HB Reactor is especially used for polycondensation (e.g. polyamide, LCP, PET), solution polymerization (e.g. super absorbent polymer), emulsion polymerization (e.g. PLA) and monomer extraction and devolatilization (e.g. POM, special olefin series materials).

hearing aid filters
We manufacture highly complex hearing aid filters. The finest mesh structures are overmolded and then assembled fully automatically to ensure maximum precision and quality.

Heat Insulation Jackets
Heat insulation jackets are perfect for heat energy savings with all types of polymer processing machinery and comparable applications (Cylinder heat protection, flat heater, insulation hood, insert isolation). The isolations are corresponding to the Factory Act for reducing of surface temperatures. Due to the individual production we are able to offer customized solutions for your isolation demand.

Heat recovery. . . free heating energy
ONI heat recovery systems for multiple use of energy In addition to improving the efficiency of the energy sources used, the new Energy Efficiency Act gives unprecedented attention to the use of waste heat. For the first time, multiple use of energy is required. This is understandable when you consider that waste heat can be used for heating purposes and therefore the use of primary energy can be dispensed with. Practical examples impressively show what can be achieved even with low-temperature waste heat and by using 1 % energy in the form of electricity, 100 % waste heat can be used. In injection moulding machines, extrusion plants, hydraulic presses or tools, expensive paid electricity is at least partly converted into heat. This waste heat, which fluctuates in a temperature range of 35 °C, has to be removed via a cooling water system and disposed of into the environment via re-cooling plants, which are again operated with expensive paid electricity. If the waste heat is used instead for heating purposes, part of the electricity used for the machines and plants is used a second time, the use of electricity for the operation of the chillers is avoided and the environment is not unnecessarily burdened with the waste heat! With regard to the issues of energy saving, sustainable energy use and environmental protection certainly the much better option. In order to be able to use this low temperature level of the cooling water for heating purposes, we have developed specially designed heaters for hall and office areas. These systems ensure that heating heat is generated from the cooling water with a dispersion of 35/30 °C, which ensures an optimal room temperature structure.

Heat-Cool-Combinations
Heat-cool combinations are mainly used in extrusion. In some cases also on injection molding machines when processing PVC or similar materials. Our heat-cool combinations are also used at recycling plants.

Heaterbands
Heaterbands belong to the category of electrical resistance heating elements. Heatingbands are used to heat cylinders and flanges.

HECO®CLEAN CLEANING AGENT
HECO®CLEAN cleaning agents are mixtures of plastics and additives that optimally clean plastics processing machines – whether screws, barrels or hot runners in injection moulding, extrusion or blow moulding. Our additives do not require any admixture or subsequent material for rinsing – hence cleaning require less time, cost money and does not impair the quality of the plastics. They can be used in a wide temperature range and have no abrasive effect, which prevents wear of the screw and barrel. For our cleaning agents, we rely exclusively on rheologically effective components that promote the sliding and flow of the polymer melt. In this way, deposits, ink residues and other fission products are broken down and reliably discharged from the machine with the help of the downstream pressure. With HECO®CLEAN cleaning agents such as HECO®CLEAN 4 PE and HECO®CLEAN 4 PP you get a plastic additive that is exactly right for your processing procedure – both products can also be used for PA, PVC and PET.

HECO®ELAST effect modifier
With our HECO®ELAST additives, plastics can be upgraded both visually and haptically. Because what looks good should also feel good. With our effect modifiers in granulate form for polyethylene and polypropylene, we can achieve various desired effects. The individual effects can be combined. The popular soft-touch effect ensures that the plastic looks more matt and feels pleasantly soft at the same time. With our HECO®ELAST 708 PO, our customers from the toy industry can achieve the desired soft plastic surface. With the frost effect, we can make transparent plastics look like a frozen water surface. Our HECO®ELAST 706 PO is used for plastic products that optically go for the frosty look. Our additives not only optimise the look, HECO®ELAST additives also influence the elasticity properties of the plastic. If a polymer is desired to be more elastic, but the strength of the plastic itself should still be given, this can be achieved with our effect modifiers. The hose industry, for example, relies on elastic and at the same time stable plastics. We will be happy to advise you so that you too can enhance your plastics with the desired effect.

HECO®FLAM flame retardants, your plastics can withstand fire and flame.
HECO®FLAM flame retardant for the plastics industry. When customers burn for our product, which is very positive. What must not burn, however, is the customers’ product itself. To ensure that the finished plastic products only catch fire with difficulty or not at all, our flame retardants have a flame-retardant effect. Our HECO®FLAM 575 PE and HECO®FLAM 581 PE flame retardants contain halogens that form radicals. Since halogens are very reactive, they bind to the hydrogen in the air and act as hydrogen halides like a diluting agent. The result: a flame-retardant effect for the polymer. Halogen-containing flame retardants work very efficiently and effectively. They contain chlorine, bromine and fluorine, but can be used in a very targeted way and in small dosages. Our new HECO®FLAM 590 PP is the first in a series of halogen-free flame retardants. Due to better environmental compatibility and the fulfillment of common fire protection standards, it can be used in applications that prohibit the use of halogen-containing flame retardants Our flame retardants can be used for both polyethylene and polypropylene. As flame-retardant additives, they don’t let anything burn and protect your polymers from fire and flames.
