Remote control
Induction Manufacturing Induction mold temperature control can be used to produce plastic parts with flawless surfaces. Due to the variothermal temperature control of the mold, the visible weld lines can be hidden on optically high-quality components. Your advantage: You get an optically perfect component with the best surface quality.

renewi - Regranulates from recycled refrigerators
renewi specializes in the recycling of disused electrical appliances. The resulting PP/PE, PS and ABS plastics are separated and processed into regrind. The end result is high-quality recycled pellets that even meet the toy standard (Coolstar Plus) and compounds according to the OEM's customer specifications. renewi is WEEELABEX-certified - for high-quality solutions with recycled plastics.

Repair of cast parts
Maintain your added value and significantly reduce your defective costs with us. We demonstrate the high quality of our repairs with more than 300,000 components every year. No mechanical reprocessing necessary.

Repairs & modifications
Even the best tools can break or have to be modified due to a change of article. Talk to us about what is feasible and cost-effective. Regardless of whether it was built in our tool shop or by one of our production partners. Repairs or modifications of tools are no problem for our company. Laser technology offers many possibilities for economic use in tool making. This may involve the repositioning of contours, correction of a few tenths of a millimetre or changes to the surface geometry of injection moulding tools. We follow our customers' wishes exactly when making the desired corrections, in order to achieve a perfect result.

Research
Our non-profit research facility supports plastics processing companies to ensure their competitiveness. This is always done in partnership, with a focus on application and fundamentals. The research topics include plastic processing processes, associated tools and surface and coating technology.

Research & development
Your application – our task You are not satisfied with your current solution or need customized PU parts for special applications – we at Asma live polyurethane Besides a high flexibility over a wide range of temperatures, the material polyurethane offers an outstanding resistance to cut, a high tensile strength, an excellent resistance to tear as well as a good abrasion resistance. Research for Practical Use
The research and development of new technologies for processing innovative materials forms the basis for the technological developments of tomorrow. In Germany, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia holds the number one position in materials research, with Aachen as the most important research location. Embedded in the research landscape of RWTH Aachen University, IKV has, for more than six decades, formed the bridgehead between basic university research and industrial application. The linking-up of science and industry is at the heart of IKV research. IKV is divided into six departments, with more than 80 scientists working continuously on various application-related, technological and material science projects in the field of plastics.
