    1. Electrical Motion2

      Electrical Motion2

The Electrical Motion2 series is the perfect partner for complex ultrasonic welding operations that demand maximum precision and great flexibility. Thanks to the electric drive and the fact that the welding force, speed and amplitude can be regulated exactly, you can achieve outstanding welding results. The trigger and braking point parameters can be regulated independently of one another. Events and changes are logged in the audit trail, which cannot be deleted, meaning that traceability and process reliability are guaranteed. Ultrasonic welding machines from the Electrical Motion2 series are ideal for welding and punching thermoplastics, non-wovens and textiles.

    2. Electromagnetic Resistance Welding The EWS method

Electromagnetic Resistance Welding The EWS method

The EWS process particularly concerns the subsequent installation of metallic components and threaded inserts in plastic parts. The heating here and thus the plastification of the joining zones are made indirectly by non-contact heating of an available metallic component using electromagnetic energy. Thus, plastic parts with three-dimensional joining zones can also be welded. The characteristics – Non-contact heating of the metal components – Exact provision of the necessary energy consumption – Exact reproducibility of the insert temperature – Low thermal load of metal + plastic – Shortest possible heating times – Shortest possible cooling times using cold insert punch – Insert tolerances smaller than 0.1 mm – No material damage due to overheating – No hot machine parts – Deep heating of the metal components using low frequency

    3. electronic overmoulding

      electronic overmoulding

Thermoset materials can be used in low-pressure processes to very gently encase sensitive electronics and thus effectively protect them from media and environmental influences. In addition, thermally conductive materials protect the electronics from "heat death". Function integration creates clever solutions and saves the project budget. Baumgarten uses a special mold technology that ensures precise overmolding of connector pins. Mature thermoset materials thus reliably realize a media-tight overmolding and, thanks to the one-shot process, simultaneously create elaborate and complex housing elements. A time-consuming potting process is thus no longer necessary. Thermoset overmolding creates integrated solutions that also effectively protect your power electronics effectively. We are looking forward to your contact.

ELKALUB GLS 563 - PFPE High-temperature grease for injection moulding tools

ELKALUB GLS 563 is a special grease for the lubrication of moving parts (ejector pins, slides) in injection moulding tools. By using a high-quality PFPE oil in conjunction with an inorganic thickener, the grease can be used at continuous temperatures up to 250 ° C and is therefore also suitable for the injection moulding of fluorinated thermoplastics. ELKALUB GLS 563 is applied in a thin layer to the parts to be lubricated. In order to ensure a correct wetting of the surfaces, a thorough pre-cleaning is recommended - preferably with a PFPE-based cleaning agent (e.g. ELKALUB LFC 500).
