For certain privileges and subsidy schemes, the purchase of electricity from renewable sources is already a prerequisite. Whether greening your electricity supply through guarantees of origin, operating on-site generation facilities, or entering into power purchase agreements (PPAs)—there are various ways to cover your electricity demand with renewable energy. These options differ in terms of models and quality and are not always easy to distinguish.
