LUPOY is a high-functional engineering plastic based on polycarbonate (PC) with the physical properties enhanced through reinforcement by fillers and alloying with styrene resins such as ABS, etc.

LURANYL®KR-blends based on polyphenyl ether (PPE) and impact-resistant polystyrene (PS-I): Alongside standard types for injection and extrusion moulding applications, our LURANYL®KR range also includes specialist products developed to meet the stringent requirements of individual customers. LURANYL®KR is characterised by its exceptional thermal deformation resistance and hot water resistance with low water absorption, high impact strength, dimensional stability and a low density. The principal areas of application for LURANYL®KR include the water treatment, electronics and automotive sectors, as well as frequently-sterilised plastic instruments in medicine. LURANYL®KR has KTW, ACS and WRAS certification. LURANYL®HT-blends based on polyphenyl ether (PPE) and polyamide (PA): LURANYL®HT has Vicat softening point temperature of up to 240°C, so powder coating at 200°C is no problem. Heat resistant level is comparable to PSU and PES but chemical resistance is much better.

PRECISION CONTROL FOR SERVO DRIVEN AUTOMATED MOLD FUNCTIONS Molding environments are increasingly being digitized. Servos for mold functions offer superior precision, control and repeatability over traditional methods. The MAG 14.000 toggle magnet is a retrofittable permanent magnet that can be installed on any pipe section without rework and prevents material contamination and machine downtime. ‍ The MAG 14.000 is ready for use once it is fixed around the pipe. No external energy source is required. The principle of the MAG 14.000 is easy to understand, because the installation creates a magnetic tunnel that can be enlarged by attaching additional magnets. ‍ The special feature of the MAG 14.000 is that the ferritic components do not adhere directly to the magnet, which makes cleaning difficult, but to the inside of the pipe. If the magnet is folded away during a conveying pause or at regulated maintenance intervals, the magnetism is eliminated. The ferritic material impurities can be discharged at suitable points. We therefore always recommend installation with a hose, a hose coupling or attachment to a suction lance, as low conveying speeds and a simple discharge point are provided. ‍ In principle, the MAG 14.000 is much more flexible and user-friendly compared to grid rod magnets, which are installed in difficult-to-access locations and require more complex cleaning. The price-performance ratio of the MAG 14.000 is also extremely attractive.

Multi-couplings enable quick and error-free connection of multiple temperature control circuits with just one hand. Typically, this multi-coupling plate is screwed to the mold. In practice, this can lead to problems with space requirements during positioning. This should be considered and planned for during the design of new molds. However, injection molding tools are often retrofitted for use with multi-couplings. Since the beginning of the year, Nonnenmann has been offering users a new mounting option for the multi-coupling on the mold with the Magnet Quick Holder (item no.: FL46605), making installation easier, faster, and more flexible. The Magnet Quick Holder can be ordered from Nonnenmann as an accessory when purchasing a new multi-coupling or purchased as a retrofit kit. We offer the Magnetic Quick Holder suitable for the common multi-coupling series M009, M090, M109, M152 and M155. Four magnets are used per multi-coupling, which reliably hold the coupling and hoses to the mold with a high holding force. This magnetic solution can be used on the contact surface of the mold up to a temperature of 80°C. By mounting using the magnets, as an alternative to the classic screw connection of the multi-coupling to the mold, users have flexible positioning, as no threaded holes are required on the mold. Installation is quick and easy directly on the mold without the need for additional tools. This solution is also ideal for retrofitting molds from individual mono-couplings to multi-couplings. Contract injection molders also benefit from this, as the mold temperature control supply can be flexibly adapted to their own machine conditions.
