    1. LASER-ETCHINGENGRAVING

      LASER-ETCHINGENGRAVING

TRADITION MEETS HIGH-TECH. Making use of combined digital and analog processes in Laser-EtchingEngraving, KRÜTH blends both traditional techniques and the latest in technology. The laser transfers the design to a protective enamel applied to the tool. The laser eats away the enamel, creating the engraving pattern, and preparing the steel for the subsequent etching process. The final engraving is created in an acid bath where the areas on the material’s surface which have been cleared by the laser are ablated. The process is completed once the surface has been rinsed and the degree of gloss has been adjusted. Depending on the engraving image desired, the process steps may be repeated a number of times. In addition to the so-called single-layer engravings, KRÜTH also makes up multi-layer engravings.

    2. Laser-specific Compounds

      Laser-specific Compounds

In laser welding, different parts, usually a housing and a housing cover, are firmly joined together to form a whole. In the process, the surface of the of the enclosure melts and is permanently bonded to the lid. In order to fulfil this task reliably, the compound for the housing cover is predominantly coloured with translucent colourants, while the compound for the housing is coloured with opaque colourants. The formulations for these laser-weldable compounds are specially developed at Sattler to achieve barely visible colour differences.

We also offer laser marking for numerous materials. Our marking laser can be used to apply lettering, images and barcodes precisely and permanently. Thanks to a controlled rotary axis, round geometries can also be marked. Large workpieces can also be processed in the closed laser cabin. The maximum marking area is 150 x 150 mm. Depending on the material and surface, we will be happy to check in advance whether the desired marking is feasible.

    4. Lasercleaner Infinity 200

      Lasercleaner Infinity 200

The Infinity 200 enables significant time and cost savings, particularly when cleaning injection molds. The laser beam removes even the most stubborn residues, even from the finest structures, without damaging the surface. This eliminates the need for additional rework on complex surfaces. The precise and material-friendly laser treatment replaces complex manual cleaning processes and the use of chemical agents. This not only leads to shorter downtimes, but also to higher product quality and more efficient production.

Laserpoint ECO and HTS Mobile laser welding machines

Laser welding enables a level of precision that other welding techniques cannot offer. Machining a workpiece after laser welding is much cheaper and time-saving. One of the most important advantages of the series welding process is the negligible thermal influence on the tool surface, the seam is free of defects and the material structure outside its area remains practically intact. structure outside its area remains practically intact. This is particularly useful when applying smaller elements, which are very sensitive to deformation caused by overheating. The laser-welded material creates a coherent and durable weld that usually leaves no visible marks after post-processing and gives the welded tool a brand new appearance. This technology enables the welding of virtually all materials used in mould and tool making (tool steel, bronze, aluminium, titanium and even copper). Are you interested? Please contact us. We will be happy to organise a demo for you to show you how easy laser welding is with our equipment. You save a lot of time and money with your own laser! Every mould is different and has its own level of difficulty.
