Visitors to the joint booth of technotrans and enesty can experience firsthand how optimally coordinated temperature control technology and water distribution improve component quality, shorten cycle times, and reduce energy consumption. Additionally, technotrans will present the teco cw 25 high 60 chilled water temperature control unit and central cooling systems using a 3D model. "Thermal management is becoming a crucial competitive factor in plastics processing. The portfolio ranges from compact individual units to central container cooling systems with heat recovery. The live exhibit will focus on the teco ci 160 eco 70 temperature control unit with flow temperatures up to 160 °C, which operates in conjunction with enesty's Orcinus distribution system. The unit centrally controls the entire system via an OPC UA interface. Demand-based heat exchange shortens cycle times, improves component surfaces, and reduces operating costs. Another highlight is the teco cw 25 high 60. This compact chilled water temperature control unit enables economical cooling with glycol-free water from 0 to 25 °C and reaches temperatures down to 0 °C without antifreeze. It is particularly suitable for applications with challenging temperature control, as well as for individual zones or smaller tools. The system is optionally available with the natural refrigerant propane (R290), thus meeting future regulatory requirements while maintaining high energy efficiency. technotrans will be exhibiting at KUTENO in Bad Salzuflen from June 9 to 11, 2026, at booth 20-G21.
