The 27-year-old family business Granula Polymer GmbH, based in Groß-Umstadt (near Frankfurt am Main), is known for its patented, effective cleaning granules for cleaning all machines in the plastics processing industry that "have a screw that rotates."

In 2024, the company invested further in the machinery for the production of cleaning granules so that 500 kg of customer-specific and standard cleaning granules can be produced per hour.

Increased customer sustainability

Sustainability was always a priority when developing the cleaning granules. CO2 can be successfully saved over the entire life cycle of GranaClean® and this benefits the customer by reducing their footprint:

- The energy balance in production is low.

- Production takes place in accordance with certified environmental management.

- Electricity for production comes from renewable energies.

- Samples and small quantities are shipped in a climate-neutral manner.
