GREEN COMPOUNDS
Go for a circular economy and use our GREEN COMPOUNDS. These plastics are not only produced in a CO²-neutral way, they are also based on 100% recycled material if desired. Both sustainable and bio-based raw materials and fillers are used. Depending on the application, the recyclates achieve comparable technical properties to virgin materials. Only a high-quality standard in the production processes and the tight specification of all end products ensure the highest batch security.

Customized Compounds
The complexity of material requirements in many industries is continually increasing. Many of these requirements cannot be met with standard materials. As a specialist for technical compounds, we offer extensive solution options. In our state-of-the-art technical center, our team of chemists, technicians and plastics engineers develop plastic compounds according to the highest quality standards. Our process monitoring is precise and guarantees the greatest possible batch and quality reliability, even when scaled up to our production facilities. Functionalities such as impact strength, conductivity, sliding friction optimization, uniform light scattering, flame retardancy and scratch resistance are just as possible as the implementation of optical properties.

SITRALON (PC), high transparent, V0, PFAS free
SITRAPLAS, is presenting a further development of the technically and functionally high-quality SITRALON (PC) at this year's KPA. The highly transparent material meets flame retardancy standards according to V0 (UL 94) and completely avoids the use of PFAS. SITRALON (PC) has exceptional transparency with a high degree of transmission. “Customers from various industries have repeatedly contacted us about the topic of PFAS and halogen-free products, as there is currently a lot of uncertainty in the market,” explains SITRAPLAS development manager Joachim Boden. “Our focus early on was therefore on developing a PFAS-free, transparent compound.” Especially in the electrical industry, particularly due to the growing demands in the area of electromobility, the need for flame-retardant materials with excellent electrical properties is increasing. Meeting high standards With a remarkable CTI (Comparative Tracking Index) of up to 600 V, the flame-retardant, halogen-free SITRALON (PC) FR also meets the standards for electrical safety and reliability specifically for high-voltage applications in electromobility. At 1.5 millimeters thick, it also meets a V0 rating according to UL94. SITRALON (PC) FR offers the proven, excellent mechanical properties, such as impact strength and heat resistance as well as excellent flow properties. The product is therefore ideal for complex geometries, among other things. Individually transparent or opaque coloring can also be easily implemented. These advantages also make SITRALON (PC) FR interesting for applications in lighting technology. “We are of course available as a contact person for our customers in order to individually adapt the technical properties of the product,” explains Joachim Boden. EN-Light COMPOUNDS – DISCOVER THE LIGHT
