Redeker Kältetechnik GmbH & Co
About us
Refrigeration Technology from Lippe.
We are a family-owned company founded in 1949 and manufacture process cooling systems for numerous industrial applications, particularly for plastics processing plants. Thanks to our expertise in refrigeration, electrical, process, and control engineering, we can supply complete systems from a single source.
Our systems are characterized by:
• Maximum energy efficiency
• Heat recovery
• Intelligent redundancy
• High control intelligence (PLC) and ease of use
• Remote access • Use of natural refrigerants such as propane, CO2, and NH3
• Eligibility for BAFA and KfW funding.
If you are unsure about your actual cooling/heating requirements, we are happy to conduct ultrasonic measurements before preparing a quotation to determine the precise demand. Our primary focus is the East Westphalia-Lippe region. We maintain long-standing customer relationships with many leading companies in OWL, characterized by strong trust and our absolute reliability. We look forward to your visit to the trade fair to discuss your specific requirements with you, because "refrigeration is our passion".

Absorptionskälteanlagen
Ludwig Weinrich GmbH & Co. KG – Absorption Chiller for CHP Plant Since 1895, the renowned Herford-based manufacturer Weinrich has been producing top-quality chocolate. Redeker Kältetechnik has been supporting the company highly successful development since 1970. Chocolate production requires refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation technology for many process steps. The combined heat, power, and cooling (CHP) plant, built in 2018, required an additional heat sink in the form of a purely thermally driven absorption chiller for energy-efficient operation. Tasks: • Utilizing waste heat from the CHP unit to generate chilled water for process cooling, air conditioning, and ventilation systems • Integrating absorption chillers into the existing compression chillers via various transfer stations • Utilizing the sprinkler system as an additional energy storage unit during partial-load production. Scope of supply: • Lithium bromide-based absorption chiller with a cooling capacity of 300 kW • Cooling tower with EC fans and adiabatic auxiliary cooling. Cooling capacity 700 kW / Medium: Ethylene glycol • Control cabinet with integrated industrial PC control and visualization • Online access via remote desktop • Pump and valve stations • Plate heat exchangers / pumps / valve transfer stations for integration into existing compression refrigeration systems • Compact heat recovery unit for utilizing residual heat from the return flow for domestic hot water heating in the mold washing system. Operating experience: For almost 12 months, the new absorption chiller has been operating flawlessly to the complete satisfaction of Weinrich GmbH. We are very pleased to have contributed to the success of the combined heat and power (CHP) system.

Prozesskühlsystem/Werkzeugbau
Stamped Sheet Metal from Kachtenhausen – Optimal Energy Utilization at Spilker GmbH. The construction of the new Kachtenhausen plant provided the long-awaited opportunity for the long-established manufacturer Spilker to thoroughly review production processes and energy consumption based on years of experience at the Leopoldshöhe plant and to optimize them accordingly at the new location. The concept developed and implemented by Redeker uses an industrial heat pump to raise the unusable low-temperature waste heat from the etching process to a temperature level suitable for heating the plant. Only after this utilization is the residual heat then cooled using highly efficient free coolers and, finally, power-controlled screw components, thus significantly reducing the energy-intensive use of the chillers. Three precision climate chambers with cooling, heating, humidifying, and dehumidifying functions guarantee the high manufacturing precision required in the milling process. The room temperature is regulated with an accuracy of 0.2 to a maximum of 0.5 K, and the relative humidity is controlled to +/- 5%. Air distribution is absolutely uniform and, above all, completely draft-free thanks to textile displacement ventilation ducts. The administration building and other production areas are cooled and heated by a highly efficient VRV system. Two ventilation systems with integrated heat recovery ensure excellent indoor air quality and make the facility "corona-safe". The energy-efficient interaction of refrigeration, heating, air conditioning, and ventilation technology is managed by a DDC system control integrated into the Spilker LAN, including online access by Redeker Kältetechnik.
