PolyTherm GmbH & Co. KG
About us
PolyTherm GmbH & Co. Kunststoffveredelungs KG, based in Preußisch Oldendorf, was founded in 1995. The focus is on the preparation and processing of high-quality plastics. Here we concentrate on the group of thermoplastic elastomers, especially TPU, TPC, TPS and TPV. We can implement almost any form of additive and coloring. When developing products, we take into account the requirements of REACH, RoHS or other guidelines. The raw materials and finished products are subject to constant revision by our QM in our in-house laboratory. We are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001-2015.
Our trademark Polylan (TPU) is available based on polyether or polyester, in natural or dyed. The Shore hardness ranges from Shore A70 to Shore D60 for injection molding applications and from Shore A70 to Shore A98 for extrusion applications. Our Polysan in the versions TPC, TPS and TPV is also available in a wide Shore hardness range. Our product portfolio is supplemented by prepared and refined regenerated versions.
Another range of services is the contract grinding of reject parts, starting blocks or sprues. Of course, these can also be re-compounded, re-colored or further refined with additional additives according to your specifications. An important contribution from us to the sustainable, resource-saving use of raw materials - and all based on our many years of experience in the processing of high-quality plastics.

Your production scrap is a valuable raw material!
Your production scrap is a valuable raw material! With our modern cutting mills we shred your sprues and rejects. We then manufacture high-quality regranulates from your production rejects on our extrusion systems. An important contribution from us to the sustainable, resource-saving use of raw materials - and all based on our many years of experience in processing high-quality plastics.

Our stock program for high-quality TPU compounds (Shore hardness A70-95) in natural and black
TPU injection molding compounds Thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers are characterized by a variety of particularly good physical properties. The most important of them here at a glance: - Excellent abrasion resistance - Weather, hydrolysis and microbial resistance (polyether TPU) and radiation resistance - Resistance to impact with cutting and bending resistance - High elasticity in wide temperature ranges from (-30°C – +100°C polylan / -20°C – +100°C regenerated) - Good chemical oil and grease resistance – TPU is not resistant to many solvents - Very good feel/surface structure - Good cushioning properties - High wear resistance - Diverse 2K solutions Our product range of the TPU Polylan 20'series covers these requirements. The daily availability of standard materials gives you the security of continuous delivery.

Compounding - sustainable recycling of high-quality raw materials
The cooperation with our customers is the basis of our corporate philosophy. We have been successfully producing products for your individual needs for nearly 30 years. Each order is specifically tailored to your requirements. Thanks to our experience and flexibility, our innovative products are available quickly and easily. If required, we can produce small quantities of compounds from 25 kg. Of course, it can also be a little more. Always on the basis of our tried and tested PolyTherm quality standard, of course. Talk to us - we will develop and implement the right solution for your requirements!

Natural TPU compound for 3D printers made of regranulated materials
PolyTherm has developed a special TPU compound for use in 3D printers. The special compound is based on high-quality regranulates. The 3D printing industry has been booming for several years. In recent months, PolyTherm has repeatedly been asked to produce a high-quality TPU compound based on regenerated plastics. In the last few months we have worked intensively with our raw material suppliers and our customers on a technical solution. After a few development steps, we have now developed a suitable TPU compound whose technical design meets all the requirements for complex and sophisticated 3D printing. The result is a high-performance, extrudable compound that is available in large, reproducible quantities at any time thanks to secure procurement sources. This is another sustainable new development from PolyTherm for the use of regenerated plastics in new, modern areas of application. Contract Processing - A perfect component in the recycling cycle. 👍
Production rejects are definitely not waste. High-quality material often arises during ongoing production that cannot be added back into the production process. We use our cutting systems to regrind this material so that it can be reused. Today we grind almost all common plastics in the area of thermoplastic elastomers (TPU/TPS/TPC/TPV) as well as standard plastics (EVA, PS, PA, etc.). The material is ground to a grain size of approx. 6 - 8 mm. We guarantee that the regrind is extremely clean and pure. The regrind is packaged in octabins or big bags. When the material is used in your production, the material cycle is closed.
