Oerlikon HRSflow, part of Swiss Oerlikon Group, operates worldwide with more than 1,000 employees and develops, produces and markets innovative hot runner systems for plastic injection molding.
Thanks to many years of experience, Oerlikon HRSflow implements sophisticated and advanced injection molding solutions and has thus been growing for years in a wide range of sectors from automotive to thin-wall packaging, beverage and household, beauty and personal care, medical to technical and electronic industries.
A global network of 3 identically structured and interconnected plants (Italy-HQ/San Polo di Piave; China/Hangzhou and USA/Byron Center) and more than 50 subsidiaries with competent teams supporting our customers at the highest technical level enables a fast response to markets with strong demand. Thanks to the plants, targeted, customized products are realized with short lead times.

STARgate HRS®
STARgate HRS® is a groundbreaking, patented pin-less hot runner solution that manages flow rate through a revolutionary diaphragmatic design and movement. Engineered for maximum cooling efficiency, STARgate HRS® significantly reduces cycle times, boosting overall productivity. With no components required to guide or move needles, it simplifies manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance processes. The compact design eliminates the need for actuator installation space, usually located above the needles in standard systems, allowing for thinner back plates. Its pin-less configuration also enables smaller nozzle diameters and reduced mold pocket sizes, making STARgate HRS® a space-efficient solution. Thanks to its smooth plastic flow and minimal stagnation area, STARgate HRS® delivers faster color changes, less scrap, and lower pressure loss. Maintenance is also simplified with an easily replaceable gate insert, while the externally positioned actuator minimizes energy consumption by eliminating the need for cooling.

GLOW HRS
The GLOW HRS solution enables the production of high-quality parts through direct injection, eliminating halos and ensuring superior surface aesthetics. With precise surface temperature control, it streamlines post-molding decoration and reduces energy consumption, contributing to a more sustainable process. Easy to install and with no impact on cycle time, GLOW HRS technology ensures consistently high productivity. From hoods and tailgates to roofs and smart panels, the system adapts seamlessly to a wide range of automotive applications.

Future-oriented hot runner solutions for greater efficiency and environmental compatibility
KUTENO focuses on hot runner systems for applications such as thin-walled packaging, closures and medical technology products, as well as the processing of biopolymers and compostable compounds. In addition, Oerlikon HRSflow concentrates on future-oriented automotive applications and the innovative FLEXflow system, which was specially developed for challenging injection molding tasks.

T-Flow HRS - New control units for hot runner technology for greater precision and reliability
The new T-Flow HRS have been designed to redefine precision and reliability in hot runner temperature control for injection molding machines. The controllers are available in different configuration, depending on the number of heating zones from 6 to 120 with multiple of 6. Comprehensive process control is at your fingertips with T-Flow HRS, thanks to its intuitive, self-explanatory user interface. The integrated touch display and clear text, coupled with smart navigation and guided operations, make T-Flow HRS an embodiment of user-friendly design, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for operators. The operational status can be easily identified from a distance according to alarms colour identification thanks to a new led stripe and the USB port makes installation, transfer of recipes and test protocols quick and efficient. Finally, accordingly with the industry 4.0 parameters the CU has a flexible connection to the machine with the OPC UA based on Euromap 82.2 fully integrated. It can be also operated via notebook or smartphones thanks to the integrated VNC server, making the entire process smarter and more accessible.
