About us
Established in 1980 in Massanzago (Padua), Moretto S.p.A. is a company based on the passion and dedication of Renato Moretto, founder and current President, able to anticipate the incredible application developments in the plastics’ world.
Today Moretto S.p.A is a leader in the research, development and production of automated systems for the plastics processing industry. The company has five production plants and 9 international offices serving customers in more than 70 countries around the world. Moretto offers solutions for feeding & conveying, dosing, drying, granulation, temperature control & cooling, storage. Thanks to MOWIS, the 4.0 supervision and management software, it is possible to manage the whole production process connecting and controlling all the solutions.
The company has reached the current leadership by putting into practice a very specific mission: to solve technical problems encountered by customers offering solutions that contribute to their success. Being the best partner for its customers is one of the company's goal, achieved through important R&D investments and a great customization of the product supplied.
Moretto supplies products and services to companies operating in the automotive, medical, optical, beverage, packaging, electronics, white goods, technical molding, PET and recycling sectors. They stand out for their low energy consumption, originality - the company holds 169 patents - and great customization that satisfies the most demanding requests. Innovation and study of the market’s needs are the fuel that guides and motivates a team of 450 people who supports the customer proposing the best technologies. Systems characterized by a low environmental impact thanks to their high energy efficiency.

DGM Gravix 20, high accuracy in microdosing operations
The desire to find a solution to the needs of plastics processors, who have to dose very small percentages of material, prompted Moretto to develop the DGM 20. This blender, based on the technical specifications of the Gravix series, was designed for microdosing applications. The new hopper design optimises a consistent mass flow for steady dosing and highest accuracy. The double eyelid shutter capable of opening and closing in 25 milliseconds combined with the Rotopulse technology and the free-weighing hopper make these feeders suitable for all types of dosing situations. Thanks to VIS (Vibration Immunity System) overcomes one of the critical issues of the gravimetric dosing - vibrations - thus enabling them to be installed on the processing machines.

X COMB, the fully electric mini dryer
X COMB is a super compact drying system which guarantees excellent manufacturing performances regardless of the external ambient conditions. It is fully electric (requiring no compressed air for operation), specifically designed for treating technical plastic materials. Its outstanding performance is achieved through innovative design features such as the honeycomb desiccant rotor with molecular sieves made of 100% zeolite, one of the most efficient moisture absorbent in the market. The dryer’s “adaptive” feature ensures a very gentle and consistent polymers treatment with dew point levels up to -52°C. Two powerflow HYPER FLOW turbocompressors only supply the required airflow optimizing the energy consumption. The original OTX (Original Thermal eXchanger) hopper can reach efficiency levels which are unique in the drying equipment market. X COMB was designed using advanced thermodynamic simulation software, a modern approach which helps reaching incredible product performances and at the same time shortens the product time-to-market.

TWK ZERO, water temperature controller
TWK ZERO is the indirect exchange water temperature controller designed for mould temperature control. Made entirely of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, it combines high performance with low energy consumption, making it particularly suitable for micro-injection and extrusion. It is equipped with a high-efficiency heat exchanger that allows it to work up to temperatures of 95°C and a dedicated pump that guarantees unparalleled performance. TWK provides a simple and intuitive user interface with an LED synoptic panel.

CTS, the quick release device for hopper loader and maintenance hopper
The CTS quick release devices are designed to facilitate the cleaning operations or the production change of the KASKO hopper loaders or the maintenance hoppers. There are two different versions of CTS, one for KASKO hopper loaders (CTS K) and the other for maintenance hoppers (CTS T). The unhooking operation of the equipment can be done in only one movement without the use of any tools, optimizing the material changeover. This quick release has a compact structure, made of a lightweight cast aluminum material.

CS storage containers, plastic granule storage beside the processing machine
The CS series containers are suitable for the storage and handling of plastic granules, ideal for the material management next to the processing machine. Completely made of stainless steel, they can be equipped with hermetic lid and sampling probe, magnetic separator and level probe. The storage of granule is done in a safety manner, protecting it from accidental contamination and electrostatic dust. The storage containers are available in CSP version, particularly indicated for the storage of poorly flowing materials such as regrind, chips, flakes or talc and in the CSR version that ensures the right material-storage bin coupling thanks to the Barcode recognition system.
