The KURZ Group is a global leader in thin film technology. RECOSYS® rPET
The recycled PET, RECOSYS® rPET, is produced as part of RECOSYS®, the world's first take-back and recycling system for PET transfer materials from the graphics industry. KURZ is continuously developing this system. So far, the surplus carrier material has been processed into robust injection molding material. In the next stage, it is now possible for the first time to process it into a pure rPET, which greatly increases the range of possible applications for the recycled material, including fibers and outer packaging for everyday products.
Hot Stamping Foils
With outstanding technical processes, a wide range of hot stamping foils and hologram foils, we contribute to your competitive advantage. Be inspired by individual, creative designs and optimally defined production processes in hot stamping. Standardized foil programs for simple requirements, special customer-specific developments, optics with colour gradient, metallized, with or without surface structure, glossy, matt - benefit from the wide range of high-quality and recyclable finishing options that our hot stamping foils offer you. For special designs or large series. You can realize design variations for the same plastic parts with only minor additional costs. IMD (In-Mold Decoration)
It’s the surfaces that make your products attractive. 75% of a product's appearance determines whether a customer is prepared to take a second look. KURZ's innovative In-Mold Decoration (IMD) process ensures that the surfaces of your products will attract customers as if by magic. With just one single step you will awaken their desires with special visual and haptic effects. But that’s not all: IMD can be combined with In-Mold Electronics (IME). For example, IME attaches transparent, conductive foils for touch sensors and decorative designs to the back of the component during injection molding. With this unique combination of two techniques, you can provide your surfaces with intelligence that is not obvious at first glance.
