Otto Menzel, a seller of mineral oils in the 1980s, loaded the trunk of his metallic gray Opel Omega full with oil canisters on Sunday evening and spent the whole week on the road in the former Federal Republic of Germany(FRG) and German Democratic Republic (GDR) to sell his goods. Business was booming and he should have been satisfied, but instead he was tormented by the thought of what would happen to the mineral oil in the event of a production accident. 1 liter of the oil could contaminate an incredible 1,000,000 liters of groundwater. It had to be possible somehow to avoid the problem and to use harmless biodegradable high-performance oils in production. Therefore, his first focus was initially on the development of lubricants based on renewable raw materials, and later also on the optimization of lubrication technology. Using CNC milling (3-axis, 5-axis), we manufacture both plastic and metal parts from quantities of 1. This is completed by wire erosion with the highest precision.
