      MechIndex

The Mechlndex system is a mechanical device designed to perform rotary movements of plates within plastic injection moulds. lt is suitable for use both in multi-material moulds andin moulds where it is advantageous to have multiple stations for insert placement or part extraction. Thanks to the integrated helical guides, the mechanism converts the linear motion of the press ejector into a rotary movement of the plate by 90°, 120° or 180°, depending on the selected configuration. The dimensions ofthe Mechlndex can be customized according to the required linear stroke X - needed for the plate to exit its housing - and the specifications of the press. On request, the system can be supplied with an integrated plate cooling unit.

Medical Technology – Fully Automated Quality Assurance with Kistler

The medical industry is moving away from sample-based inspections toward fully automated quality assurance. Kistler is driving this transformation with AI-supported analysis of precise inline measurement data from tool-integrated sensors directly within the injection molding process. This enables real-time evaluation of each individual component, significantly improving safety, efficiency, and traceability. Kistler sets new standards for the production of validated and reliable medical devices. Would you like to learn more? Get in touch with us!

    4. Mermaid FX

      Mermaid FX

The new "Mermaid Effect" project presents an exclusive multi-colored selection of high-quality color changing effects - also known as interference effects. The particularly elegant and luxurious colors create a breathtaking color contrast that allows the viewer to change his or her visual impression depending on the viewing angle and the incidence of light. Believe in the magic of color – Mermaid Effect Hardly any other figure is as beautiful and enchanting as the mermaid. Generations of sailors have dreamed of a girl with a dazzling fishtail. Even today the mythical creatures fascinate us with their shimmering and iridescent colors. Adapted to the magnificent colors of a mermaid's fin, the GRAFE-DESIGN-CENTER presents eight different flop effects, which are characterized by their special color brilliance and a strong color change.

    5. Metal injection moulding-MIM: innovative technology for manufacturing small, complex metal series parts

Metal injection moulding-MIM: innovative technology for manufacturing small, complex metal series parts

MIM technology for the series manufacturing of your complex metal parts. In the MIM process metal powder is mixed with polymer binder. This so-called "feedstock" is injection moulded on a conventional injection moulding machine. The result is a "green part", consisting of 60 vol% metal powder and 40 vol% binder (polymers and waxes). After injection moudling the main binder component is removed in a debinding step and sintered to >97% of the corresponding material density. During the sintering step the part shrinks as it can be observed in the picture above. With this innovative technology complex parts with tiny structures can be manufactured in high quantities. Just contact us, we support you in optimizing your parts with our technology.

MF Academy - Moldflow Training Center

For many engineers, injection molding simulation of plastics is still relatively unfamiliar territory, as engineering efforts often focus more on metals than on polymer materials. At our training center, we provide in-depth knowledge of injection molding, its special processes, and the underlying material science. Our goal is to enable engineers to confidently master the simulation of this often perceived complex field. To achieve this, we have developed practical training courses that offer significant added value, especially for professionals involved in part and component development.

    7. Michel Vario-Wand - the affordable material distributor

Michel Vario-Wand - the affordable material distributor

The Michel Vario-Wand was derived from the Michel Vario-Tisch. ‍ The Michel Vario-Wand combines the advantages of the Michel Vario-Tisch with even greater on-site installation flexibility. The components are delivered individually as an assembly. The panel is hung / mounted like a picture and also serves as a cover plate. Add-on parts such as a collecting tray for granules and/or codings can also be retrofitted. ‍ The Michel Vario-Wand can be installed horizontally, vertically and at an angle. Cutting to size is possible on site. This enables the fitter to set up a coupling point on site in the simplest way.

    8. Micro Injection Moulding GTM

      Micro Injection Moulding GTM

More and more injection moulding companies are facing the challenge that the ratio between the large installation dimensions of their moulds does not match the small injection volumes of the cavities. In these cases, the user has to resort to a large injection moulding machine with an oversized injection unit. Thermally damaged plastic and inaccurate control of the non-return valve are frequent results. Groche Technik has developed the GTM unit for these applications. With the GTM unit, the required injection volume is plasticised in an injection chamber with a reduced cross-section and injected using a specially developed piston screwtip. This allows the volume to be reduced by approx. 30%. In order to achieve an even shorter residence time, Groche Technik can carry out geometry modifications for the barrel and screw. Depending on the type and application, the plastic volume in the barrel can be reduced by up to 50%. A reduction in injection force is required before the GTM unit is commissioned. + Volume reduction of approx 30% possible + Mass cushion is formed in the injection chamber + Reduction in residence time + Lower thermal load on the material + Compatible with almost any injection moulding machine + Usually no need to use microgranulate
